On September 25 and 26, 2006, thirteen of the country’s top scientists were at Duke to share their thoughts on emerging great ideas in science and how today’s discoveries might change medicine.
The symposium’s keynote lecture was given on September 25 by Paul Nurse, Ph.D., co-recipient of the 2001 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. Plenary lectures were given by Nobel laureates Linda Buck and Joseph Goldstein on September 26.
